Electronic COC Forms

Our paperless drug testing process eliminates the headache of managing and keeping an inventory of paper chain-of-custody forms.  It also reduces errors and legibility problems, and allows clients to view the status of a request, from ordering and collection all the way through test completion.  Finally, candidates will no longer need to remember to bring a paper form to the clinic, eliminating delays and frustration.

MRO Services

A Medical Review Officer (MRO) is a licensed physician who reviews laboratory results generated by an employer’s drug testing program. They are responsible for evaluating medical explanations for certain drug test results. DOT results are reviewed by an MRO as required by law. In addition, some states require MRO review of either positive-only or positive and negative non-DOT results.

We strongly encourage clients to utilize an MRO even when not legally required. The MRO review is just another step in creating a solid and defensible drug testing policy. In addition, it relieves the employer from having to discuss positive test results with an applicant or employee. Since employers are only charged for MRO services when used, costs are kept at a minimum.

Collection Site Management

Quest Diagnostics has an extensive database of in-network and third party collection sites covering most of the country. In addition, we have established an extended network of third party collection sites to fill the voids in Quest’s database. All of these locations can be accessed by choosing “Find a Collection Site” on the Resources menu.

In the event that we have not met your need with these two sources, clients may request a new collection site location. We will research the area in question, negotiate and establish an account and add it to our database. You will then be notified of the location, hours and requirements. Best of all, there is no fee for this service.

DOT Services

We offer federally regulated drug and alcohol testing services for employees in the transportation industry, such as truck drivers and pilots. In addition to current testing, we can also verify any record of drug and alcohol use with the applicant’s previous employers, as required by law.

Random testing is also a mandatory part of any DOT drug testing program. In order to maintain impartiality, Hire Level can handle your random selection needs. Our software will randomly select the federally required percentage of employees for alcohol and drug testing at an appropriate interval.  Clients are also welcome to utilize our DOT consortium pool for random selections.

Random Selection

Random drug testing is one of the most effective ways of maintaining a drug-free workplace.  Since it is unannounced and unpredictable, it is a strong deterrent to drug use.

In addition to DOT drug tests, Hire Level also offers random selection for non-DOT drug testing.  We will randomly select employees according to your requirements for number/percentage of employees and frequency of selection.  We will notify you of the selections and automatically add those pending tests to the lab’s queue for ease of ordering.
